In our world today we are affected by so many energies. Social Media bombards us with information.
Some is happy and makes us smile, some is not and can make us upset.
What do you do if you feel yourself being sucked into a vortex of negative energy and you want to shake it off?
Here are my tips
1. Smudge yourself, your area and your computer. I have a spray smudge that is liquid gold in my world as an empath. I spray my shoes when I am going out in where there will be a lot of people.
2. Dance. Turn on some music to take you to your happy place and enjoy it. When I want to release energies I listen to 80’s rock, when I wish to go to my peaceful happy place I listen to George Strait.
3. Go outside into nature that makes you happy, A park or a pasture, ground yourself with the earth. If you are unable to go outside, find an image of nature that makes you feel grounded and creates joy,
4. Have a private hissy fit. Jump up and down and scream to release any negative energies you are holding in your body.
5. Crystals. Black Tourmaline or Smoky Quartz will block negativity. Carnelian will give you energy. Rose Quartz has the vibration of love.
These are my favorite.

How do you know if you are being adversely affected by negative energies?
- You are cranky for no reason, it hits you suddenly.
- You feel like you want to cry and nothing has happened in the last few minutes for you to feel that way.
- You want to hibernate and that – I really do not want to be around anyone right now feeling hits!
- Someone says something to you and you are instantly irritated and want to snarl, yet if they said the same thing a different day, it would be fine.
